Dear Residents of the Pico Rivera Community,
The ongoing shortage of state and local funding has made the El Rancho Adult School alter its programs and overall structure. On the El Rancho Unified School District’s web site www.erusd.org, our Superintendent, Dr. Myrna Rivera Coté has written a brief overview of the challenges our district is faced with, and the options that have been placed before the Board to insure that the district meets the current and future needs of our students and our community.
While I am saddened that the long history of the Adult School is coming to a close, I am very excited to be involved with the proposed El Rancho Education Center, and I am optimistic that in the end, our community will be very pleased with the large spectrum of services we will provide.
